Nikon D7200 Digital SLR Camera (24.2 MP, 18-105 mm VR Lens, Wi-Fi, NFC) 3.2-Inch LCD Screen Reviews Products :
Excellent cameraAnyone considering a camera should read as many reviews as possible – especially professional ones.
My experience, having bought this model after talking to other owners and reading on-line reviews is very positive. I’ve upgraded from an entry level P900 – which is excellent but has limitations. This camera is quieter (and I photograph wildlife, so that is important). It’s also faster and easier to change settings, as many are dials on the camera body and not a computer menu. I am also shooting in RAW rather than Jpeg and the results are astounding. I am used to admiring others’ photos on social media groups but I am over the moon now with my results. I have posted some here. I use an inexpensive editing program to adjust contrast and crop – that’s about the level of my experience – and change the RAW to Jpeg for posting on-line
Of course, a lot depends on the lens, so buy the best you can afford.
Five StarsFantastic, brilliant hand held night shots (see pics attached), use with 18 -300mm & Tam 150 – 600mm
Beautiful, well built, Intuitive – typical NIKON
This is quite simple. It’s a NIKON. Although I have been working with the full format ”Big Brothers” of this D7200, with it’s Grandfathers – from Nikon 1 / F3/ etc right through the years to this ”modern” lightweight – it still feels and handles just like a NIkon. Not small, but just right. Beautifully made and works like a dream. Very intuitive handling and boy is it quick…. am using it with NikonDX lenses, Nikon FX lenses, A Series, Tokina Makro 100mm, fully manual 8mm Fisheye lenses – you name it – works, no question asked. It’s a NIKON! simple.
Although I still love my old F3 which you can use to break down the Tower Bridge Gate of an Midlevel Castle if you feel the urge to do so ( just for fun), but this beauty is an absolute treat. I ordered it with CASKY, it was delivered super fast, perfectly packaged. Good stuff!
Happy and – highly recommended if you are looking for a nice little present for yourself that probably will outrun your challenges…
