Great tv, poor remote.
Bought this TV at a local store a few days ago so had a chance to see how it performs. Picture wise it is very good once you change a few settings in the menu. I would recommend changing from standard to dynamic as it gives a much crisper and bright picture. You can also change to HDR which means the picture will upscale to near 4K depending on the picture source. It doesn’t make any difference watching normal tv but the normal picture is very good and the HD channels are excellent once you change to dynamic. Sound is good for a flat screen but it is always better having surround sound. Gaming wise it looks superp and although there is no lag though I would turn motion off as it’s much better. There is a game mode to help with any lag but there is a drop in picture quality and you don’t really need so I don’t bother with game mode. I paid £450. Fair enough.If you want the absolute best of HDR 4k, you’ll have to pay thousands. If you want an honest, decent entry level 4k TV, this is fine. I calibrated mine with the help of a nice eastern European man on YouTube (just type the model in and you’ll probably find the clip). Picture is now reference quality for the price point. If you don’t calibrate your TV correctly, you’re not realising the true potential of your telly (the presets are always rubbish).
